Hope Valley - south Lake Tahoe
The colors are vivid – and the air temperature is frigid on typical fall mornings in the Hope Valley, near the junction of Highways 88 and 89. The light in early morning and late afternoon brings out the color in the aspens and other trees in the area. Leaves look their best – and the sky is bluest. Hope Valley is among the many great spots for fall foliage photography.
